Manor Solomon was instrumental in Leeds United earning promotion to the Premier League last season when he was at Elland Road on loan from Tottenham. The winger was a key player, and Daniel Farke has lamented the fact that the club are yet to replace him this summer.
The Israeli international returned to Tottenham at the end of the season despite suggestions that Leeds were exploring signing him on a permanent deal from Spurs. The winger wanted a chance to prove himself during pre-season to new manager Thomas Frank this summer.
However, Solomon has failed to impress the new Spurs boss, and he is not part of his plans at Tottenham. The club are looking to move him on before the end of the transfer window on September 1st.
Leeds are yet to sign a winger this summer, and it remains one of the biggest priorities for the Whites in the coming days. They have not ruled out trying to sign Solomon before transfer deadline day.

Manor Solomon wants to return to Leeds United

Tottenham have decided to listen to offers for the winger, and want a fee in the region of £20m from his departure before the end of the window.
However, Spurs have not ruled out accepting another loan offer if they do not receive suitable bids for a permanent deal in the coming days.
Solomon has a clear preference, and according to the London Evening Standard, the winger is keen to return to Leeds in the ongoing transfer window.
His preference is to rejoin Leeds, where he felt comfortable last season and knows manager Daniel Fark, who valued him at Elland Road during his loan stint.
With Spurs open to a loan offer, there is a real chance Leeds could try to sign him on another temporary deal for another season before the September 1st deadline.
Leeds’ interest in Noah Okafor complicates matters
The Whites have continued to keep tabs on Solomon and remain firm admirers of the Tottenham winger this summer.
However, Leeds have a genuine interest in AC Milan winger Noah Okafor, and the club are in talks with the Rossoneri to sign the winger.
Leeds’ pursuit of Okafor puts a question mark on whether they will take up an offer to sign Solomon before the end of the transfer window.
If the Whites end up signing Okafor, it could close the door on the possibility of the Spurs winger returning to Elland Road this summer.
However, if Tottenham are open to a loan offer, Leeds could still look to add the winger to their squad if they succeed in securing a deal for the AC Milan star.
Did well for us last season but this is now Premier League. Not sure he is up to it. Also he only wants to come back cos Spurs have binned him off. Wasn’t interested before. Can’t say I want to see him back personally
For me, he didn’t want to come and his comments at Plymouth irked me. Now, he’s surplus to requirements and he wants to return. He looked good in a Championship team but Spurs fans wanted him gone when he went to Leeds and Frank is a good judge, and knows what a Premier League player looks like now. I wasn’t overwhelmed by him, like so many others. I would go for proven quality and stop messing about penny-pinching. The 49ers have not shown enough ambition for me and are more interested in generating money than spending it. Their M.O. seems to be, chase lost causes, refuse to pay clubs what they want and then blame the players, leaving it so late in the window that they purposely run out of time or the player goes elsewhere. If they wanted Muniz they could have offered 40M before Atalanta came in and… Read more »
