The Argentine manager managed to turn multiple players into Premier League stars. Jack Harrison, Kalvin Phillips, Patrick Bamford and Raphinha were just a few of the many players he elevated.

This summer, Leeds could be promoted to the Premier League again. Daniel Farke’s men have five games to go to secure their promotion place.

The Whites are in a serious race involving Burnley and Sheffield United. Leeds and Burnley are level on points, with Sheffield just two points behind both teams. This weekend will be a crucial one for all three teams. Burnley play first on Friday night, with Leeds and Sheffield United kicking off at the same time on Saturday. Clarets boss Scott Parker has complained as to why his team is playing on Friday while their rivals play over 12 hours later.

Leeds United are so close to fulfilling their Premier League aspirations this summer. Daniel Farke’s men reached the play-off final last year but failed to beat Southampton. Fans will hope the team can make the jump this time around.

Football Insider has revealed that sources within Leeds United believe the squad has ”six players” good enough for the Premier League. The report reveals the names as Jayden Bogle, Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu, Ao Tanaka, Dan James and Manor Solomon. Leeds believe these players all have a mix of quality and Premier League experience that will be key when the club wins promotion.

Are these the only ”Premier League players” at the club?

The report is partially right; Leeds have players with Premier League experience. But quality is a whole other topic. Players like Pascal Struijk and Illia Gruev are good enough to play in the English top flight. Overall the Leeds squad will need some serious additions if the club want to retain their Premier League status when they are promoted.
