Leeds United are back in action this weekend as they take on Scott Parker’s Burnley side. The Clarets have been a thorn in the side of Daniel Farke’s career – the German has just one win against them in England.
Last season, Leeds failed to beat Burnley in two games in the Championship. It is going to be a difficult clash this weekend, regardless of the form of both clubs. The Whites sit in 15th place with eight points from seven league games, Burnley sit in 18th place with just four points.
The Clarets are on a five game losing streak coming into this game, while Daniel Farke’s side have only lost one game in their last three matches.

Burnley could be without Lyle Foster – the striker withdrew from international duty midweek and should be in England soon. This could be a huge blow, as the forward is one of the more important parts of Scott Parker’s team.
Daniel Farke has confirmed the latest team news; two players have been ruled out of Saturday’s game with one major doubt confirmed. Wilfried Gnonto and Harry Gray are expected to miss the Burnley game, while Noah Okafor recently became a doubt. Lucas Perri has also returned to training and could be available soon.
“Some mixed news. Good news with Perri, he was able to train the last two weeks with us, build up his fitness level.
“With Willy Gnonto he won’t be available, his calf problems are sorted but he needed hernia surgery, he should be back next week.
“Very positive news with Dan James he is ahead of schedule, he was involved in many parts of teams training this week, not in contention to start, Noah Okafor us struggling with some adductor problems so Dan James could be in contention.”
Injuries to affect lineup changes
Farke has already confirmed that Karl Darlow will continue in goal as Lucas Perri ramps up his fitness. It will be a huge blow if Noah Okafor misses out on the game; the Swiss winger has burst into life with two goals in his last three games before the international break.
