Tyler Adams considers Leeds United exit this summer

According to transfer insider Dean Jones, Tyler Adams could move from Leeds United at the end of the season.

Football Insider reports that Manchester United have been admirers of Tyler Adams since his days at Liepzig, but a move for the midfielder is not likely any time soon, and the player is not interested in moving until at least the end of the season.

Jones speaking on Adams: “A move to Manchester United is not on at the moment. That’s not one that is active at all.

“From what I’m told, he’s going to see out the season and probably see what lands after that point.

“But it won’t surprise me at all to see him being linked with some big moves at the end of the season.”

Adams just joined Leeds this summer for a reported £20million on a five-year deal, so the club are not under any pressure to sell the American.

The 23-year-old midfielder received rave reviews during the United States Men’s National Team campaign at the 2022 World Cup. Adams was named captain before the tournament, making him the one of the youngest in USMNT history to do so.

His ability on the ball and defensive work in midfield caught the eye of many fans and pundits during the tournament, with many tipping him to make a big move next summer. Leeds will do well to hold on to the American.
