Leeds United will be full of confidence following their first away win of the season last weekend. Daniel Farke’s side will now face Bournemouth on Saturday in what will surely be a tough clash.
Andoni Iraola’s men are unbeaten since their loss to Liverpool in their opening league game. But Leeds will hope their form at Elland Road will play a big part over the weekend. The Whites won their first home game against Everton, and held Newcastle United to a goalless draw. Daniel Farke has already told the team and the fans to make Elland Road a fortress in this campaign.

Saturday will see Leeds face former player Tyler Adams. The American spent just one year at the club before joing the Cherries. He had a mixed time as a player at the club. The perception of him coming in was not pleasant as fans saw him as part of Jesse Marsch’s ”Red Bull” players.
Adams’ opinion on Leeds fans has been strong since he left the club. Back in 2024, he admitted that he ‘could not care less’ about their opinion of him:
“But when things aren’t going well…, it’s a team and a city built off hard work, it’s blue-collar.
“I resonate with those fans unbelievably well – to this day. Whether they say they hate me or not, I couldn’t care less.”
Daniel Farke’s words on upcoming games
The win over Wolves has boosted the atmosphere at the club, but Daniel Farke said on Saturday that he and his players are focused on the games ahead.
“This is what football does. It’s so important for us and for the mood.
“I’m glad we send them into a nice weekend, they should celebrate and dream a bit. We stay humble.
“Seven points is really good but it won’t be enough to stay in this league.
“We have to earn many more points to earn the right to be an established Premier League club. We’ll stay grounded.
“We’ll value the moment, the away win, it’s important. To be off the mark for some offensive players is quite good.”
Seven points from give games is a good start to the season, but the club need more to stay up in the Premier League.
