Tyler Adams out for the rest of the season

Leeds boss Sam Allardyce has confirmed that Tyler Adams is unlikely to play again for Leeds this season.

The midfielder underwent hamstring surgery in March, after reportedly carrying an injury during the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Adams was one of Leeds better signings this campaign, his work rate in midfield often kept the team competitive.

Allardyce’s comments basically rule out Adams from the team’s final three games as Leeds fight to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

When asked if Adams would return this season, Big Sam responded:

“No, not that I believe. Sadly,”

Leeds sit two points from safety, and welcome Newcastle to Elland Road on Saturday. The Whites will then face West Ham before hosting Tottenham on the last day of the season.
