Man United, Spurs in contact with Leeds defender’s agent – Report

According to 90mins, Manchester United and Tottenham have contacted Robin Koch’s representatives.

The report claims that both top six sides have reached out to the players’ entourage as they look into potential deals this summer. Koch has been one of the more solid performers for Leeds over the past few seasons and is said to be looking for a move away from the Championship.

Leeds were relegated just last season, and Koch could be one of the players affected by the relegation wage clause.  The German joined Leeds in the summer of 2020 and still has a year remaining on his current deal.  According to 90min, there are plenty of suitors interested in keeping the centre-back in England.

The source claims United and Spurs have both been in touch with Koch’s representatives, while Brentford, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest are also understood to be on the alert. The 26-year old is currently sorting out his future at the club, and is under contract until 2024.
