Leeds have had a stuttering start to the season after a successful campaign last time around. The whites are yet to win any of their opening 5 league games and Marcelo Bielsa has asked for more from his players.
“Our game needs to evolve.” Bielsa revealed. “By that I mean we have to get better.” Bielsa is acknowledging that Leeds haven’t played at the same intensity thus far, and expects his players to improve sooner rather than later.
He then went on to talk about West Ham, in which he praised the coaching job David Moyes has done since returning to the club. “The majority of their players are better than they were last year.” The Argentine is suggesting that he wants to prove his players have improved just as much as West Ham’s players have.
