This past weekend was a very bad time for Leeds United fans. Going into the match at Turf Moor, the Whites looked like the favourites but when the whistle went, the reality was much different.
Burnley came out of the blocks flying, and scored in the first 20 minutes of the match. Daniel Farke will have to question his defenders as they allowed Lesley Ugochukwu to score from a header unmarked. The team have fallen asleep on crucial goals in recent weeks, including allowing Bournemouth a late equalizer from a set piece. Luom Tchaouna sealed the win for Scott Parker’s side in the second half with a long range effort.
This result has made this Friday’s game against West Ham a very important one. Both sides are coming into the match in very poor form, and no one knows who the winner could be.

The Hammers lost against Brentford on Monday night, with new boss Nuno Espirito searching for his first win in charge. The visitors will be keen to put their season on course with a result at Elland Road, but Nuno says the game could be difficult as his team have had very little time to prepare:
“We haven’t prepared the team yet and it would be foolish of me to tell you how we’re going to address it,” Nuno said, when asked about facing Leeds on of Friday night.
“What I can tell you, is this will be a very tough game. Leeds is a very good team.
“I have played there before, tough environment, tough atmosphere. Let’s get ready, the how, maybe in a couple of days.”
Leeds United have huge advantage
Leeds played on Saturday which means that the Whites have 48 hours more rest than West Ham who played on Monday. Nuno has already said how difficult it will be for his side to prepare for Friday’s game, and Daniel Farke’s men would already have had a head start to plan and prepare. This means that Leeds have close to zero excuse not to deliver in front of the home crowd at Elland Road.
