Leeds United have produced some fantastic young talents over the years, and the latest is Harry Gray. The striker got his debut at the end of last season, and is seen as the next big thing at the club.
Many expect him to follow the footsteps of his brother, who walked into the first team and won his place in the lineup. Archie Gray capped off a wonderful season by winning EFL Championship Young Player of the year.
It is now Harry’s turn, and many fans are eager to see him in the first team. But Leeds boss Daniel Farke has preached calm and patience with the young star.

There has been a lot of noise around Elland Road recently with Gray now being eligible to sign a professional contract. Many have been keenly monitoring the situation as some of the biggest Premier League clubs eyed the young striker. According to Graeme Bailey and other sources, the deal is done. But Daniel Farke has revealed what he has heard so far:
“Normally we just speak about business when it is done.”
In his update, the Leeds boss confirmed that the player is also injured and will miss the Burnley game.
“Harry is still out of team training at the moment, back next week.
“And of course behind the scenes we are trying to build our squad for the future and with players that attract us, Harry is a very good player and I expect very positive news in the future.
“It makes sense when you announce a contract when he is fit and available.”
Leeds United make the right decision
Tying down Harry Gray long term is the best decision, the club now have to manage and develop him for the first team. Gray has already shown his talent, and if moulded properly, could be the face of the club for the next decade.
But for now, Daniel Farke has the best path for the player; allowing him to train with the first team while still playing games with the U21s.
