Weekly Loan Watch: Drameh Impresses Once Again Whilst De Bock Captains Win

A weekly round up of all 13 of Leeds’ current loanees away from the club:

Ian Poveda and Mateusz Bogusz: Both players have been pictured back at Thorp Arch recovering from two serious injuries sustained whilst out on loan at Blackburn and UD Ibiza respectively.

Cody Drameh: The 20 year old played the full 90 minutes in Cardiff’s 0-0 draw with Preston in the Championship. The young right-back is enjoying an impressive loan spell at the Bluebirds, and has started every game since his temporary switch to South Wales in January – providing 2 assists and helping with five clean sheets in his 13 league starts.

Helder Costa: Costa came on as a 90+1st minute substitution for Valencia in their 0-0 draw with Getafe in La Liga. The Portuguese has had a frustrating time since arriving in Spain, having failed to score and only contributing 1 assist in his 18 league outings – 11 of which have been starts.

Alfie McCalmont: The Northern Ireland international started in Morecambe’s 3-1 home loss to Cheltenham, and was replaced in the 53rd minute. It was McCalmont’s 17th start in League One this season, however the 21 year old has only managed 1 goal and 1 assist from the heart of midfield as Morecambe sit 22nd in League One.

Leif Davis: Davis was forced to be replaced in the 29th minute through injury in Bournemouth’s 2-0 home win over Derby County. The 22 year old has made 12 appearances so far this season in the Championship for Scott Parker’s side as Bournemouth sit second and look to secure automatic promotion back to the Premier League.

Kun Temenuzhkov: The former Barcelona youth striker made his 7th start of the season for Spanish third division side Real Union – being replaced after 78 minutes. Temenuzhkov has spent the past two seasons on loan at Real Union, and has managed just four goals during his time in Spain, with just one coming this season.

Laurens De Bock: De Bock captained Zulte Waregem to a 3-0 victory over KAS Eupen in the Belgian top flight, making his 25th start of the season. Leeds’ left back now seemingly plays as a center back in Belgium, and has found himself to be captain of the side that he has spent the last two seasons on loan at.

Kiko Casilla: Casilla was an unused substitute in Elche’s 1-0 win over Granada in La Liga. The former Real Madrid man has made 12 first team appearances this season, however his most recent outing was against his former side in a 2-1 loss in October of last year.

Elia Caprille: Leeds’ former under 23 goalkeeper played the full 90 minutes in Aurora Pro Patria’s 5-1 win over Giana Erminio in Serie C.

Ryan Edmondson: The 20 year old came on as a 70th minute substitute in Port Vale’s 4-1 win over Crawley Town. Edmondson is now at his fourth loan club in less than two seasons, and has scored 3 goals in 11 appearances for Port Vale after arriving in January after being recalled from Fleetwood Town in the same month.
