Leeds United made some big calls when it came to the squad before this season began. The Whites were preparing the team for their return to the top flight.
Daniel Farke had a huge say in most of the decisions in the summer, opting to let some players go before the club started recruiting. Leeds signed 10 new players during the summer transfer window, boosting the quality and depth in multiple areas of the team. From a new goalkeeper to the attack, the club added a few pieces in every part of the pitch.
But it was the decisions made on some first team players that baffled the fans; the return of Jack Harrison, and Patrick Bamford being allowed to leave on a free. Farke also allowed Max Wober, Isaac Schmidt, Largie Ramazani and Mateo Joseph to depart the club on a temporary basis.

A host of those players struggled for first team minutes in the previous campaign, thus a loan move looked like the best decision for everyone involved. Largie Ramazani’s exit came as a bit of a surprise as he was with the squad to start the season. The Belgian winger struggled when he first arrived at Elland Road, but showed some flashes as the season progressed.
| Competition | Games | Goals + Assists |
|---|---|---|
| La Liga | 18 | 6 |
| Copa del Rey | 4 | 1 |
| TOTAL | 22 | 7 |
Ramazani was loaned to Valencia, where he made an immediate impact on his debut, but struggled to stay fit after that. The winger only rediscovered his form in February, with four goals in his last seven appearances. According to Marca, Leeds United are planning to bring the Belgian back to Elland Road at the end of the season.

Leeds United plan for Largie Ramazani revealed
The report adds that the Whites have been impressed with how Ramazani has fared in Spain in the last couple of weeks, and think he will be a great piece to add to the squad. There are plans for the winger to be with the team next season, with the club seeing him as a player with huge potential to be a big part of the team.
However, Marca also add that Leeds are not opposed to selling the 25-year old and could pull the trigger if the right offer comes in at the end of the season. Valencia are not in the race to keep the winger on a permanent deal, as the club cannot afford him due to their financial constraints. Ultimately, last year’s star signing will return to Elland Road in the summer before any decision is made on his future.
