Leeds United have eight league games left to save their season. The Whites are still in the battle for survival in the Premier League, and have a tough run of fixtures from now till the end of the season.
This past weekend saw Daniel Farke’s men beat West Ham to advance to the semi-finals of the FA Cup. The game on Sunday was all but over when Leeds had a 2-0 lead in the 75th minute. However, the Hammers fired back with two goals in three minutes to force extra time. The Whites eventually won the penalty shootout after Lucas Perri’s heroics.
Leeds United star suffers injury in West Ham clash
Now, Leeds United will focus on their next league game against Manchester United on Monday night. That game kicks off a tough run of games, including visits to Spurs and West Ham before the end of the season. Fortunately for Farke, his players will get enough rest before the game at Old Trafford after playing over 120 minutes on Sunday.

Anton Stach posted a picture of his ankle injury on Instagram.
But there is already a major injury concern; Anton Stach was substituted in the 38th minute after picking up a knock to his ankle. It looked like it was not a serious injury as he walked off the pitch but after the game, he posted a picture of his ankle. It was in bad shape, and the club are yet to assess the extent of the injury, or whether he will be available for the next league game. This could be bad news around this point of the season.

Sean Longstaff could return to the lineup
Nothing has been confirmed about the German midfielder’s status, but if he does find himself out, Sean Longstaff is the ideal replacement. Since the former Newcastle man returned from injury, he has found himself outside the starting lineup. But he has shown in recent appearances that he is ready to answer when Daniel Farke calls him back into the fold. Longstaff had a solid performance in the victory over Birmingham City in the fourth round, and scored a goal in the win against Norwich in the fifth round. Leeds have lacked a bit of a goalscoring edge recently, and the 28-year old could help provide a solution there.
