Leeds United will be relieved to return to Elland Road this weekend as they prepare for a crucial clash this Saturday. The Whites are in a bad run of form these past couple of weeks.
Managing one point in three games in the league has been a brutal reality check for this set of players. Leeds could have arguably gotten more from these games if their players managed to finish off chances. The Whites had all the momentum in the games against City, Sunderland and Palace, but did not find the back of the new when it mattered.
Saturday sees them face Keith Andrews and a determined Brentford side who have one eye on a place in Europe next season. Leeds United have lost their last two home games, and will be hoping to change things when the two sides meet. Brentford on the other hand, have lost just once in their last seven league games.
Team news ahead of Brentford clash
Ahead of this weekend, Daniel Farke received a huge boost as Noah Okafor all but confirmed his availability. The winger posted videos in training on Friday and is expected to play some part in Saturday’s game. Outside that, Leeds United will be without Gabriel Gudmundsson, who will be serving a one-match suspension after being sent off against Crystal Palace.
Brentford have a long list of first team absences ahead of Saturday’s game. Keith Andrews will be without Fabio Carvalho, Antoni Milambo and Josh Dasilva who have been ruled out long term. Aaron Hickey, Rico Henry, and Vitaly Janelt are out and will only return after the international break. Mikkel Damsgaard will be a doubt and may have to be a late decision by Andrews.

Leeds United predicted XI vs Brentford
Not many changes are expected to this Leeds team despite not being able to get a win in their last five league games. Karl Darlow will remain in goal, and the defence will continue to pick itself with Jaka Bijol getting his place back in the lineup. The only absence this weekend will be Gudmundsson.
James Justin is expected to fill in at left wingback and the midfield will continue with Ampadu, Stach and Aaronson. The latter is not in great form, but will likely remain in the side for this game. Up top, Daniel Farke is expected to go with both Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha, with Noah Okafor not fit enough to start from the onset.
Predicted Leeds United XI vs Brentford: Darlow; Rodon, Bijol, Struijk; Bogle, Ampadu, Stach, Justin; Aaronson; Nmecha, Calvert-Lewin
