Leeds United have slipped back into danger after the results of the last few weeks; the Whites are winless in their last three Premier League games. They did manage a result over the weekend, but it was just a point.

Daniel Farke will be furious that his side picked just one point from a possible nine. Leeds United have struggled in front of goal over the last few weeks – they have managed just one goal in their last four league games.

This past Sunday against Crystal Palace, they had a chance to get all three points. Unfortunately, Dominic Calvert-Lewin missed a crucial penalty, and Leeds went down to 10 men shortly after. Farke’s men managed to hang on and take a draw on the day.

Formers Spurs man gives Leeds United relegation verdict

The Whites are just three points above the relegation zone, with West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Spurs all looking to avoid that last spot in the bottom three. Forest played on Thursday night in the Europa Conference League, and advanced to the next round after beating Midtjylland. After the match, Andy Reid was speaking on talkSPORT about the relegation battle. He thinks Leeds United will be the team to go down alongside Burnley and Wolves.

“For me, Leeds are going down. I look at the way they have played this season and they have done well.

“But despite that, they are still down there and they’ve not picked up enough points in that run to pull away from the relegation zone.

“I just think in the coming weeks they will get sucked in down there and I see them going, even though I think Spurs are in danger too.

“Either way I think it’s a really exciting few weeks ahead and it’s going to be interesting to watch and see who does drop out of the division.”

Difficult run-in ahead for Leeds

The Whites will regret not being able to capitalize in their last few league games. It was the perfect opportunity to open a points gap ahead of their demanding run of fixtures. In their last eight games of the season, Leeds United will be away from home to Manchester United, Spurs and West Ham. They also play Burnley and Bournemouth in that run; and it looks increasingly difficult where they will get points from. Hopefully Daniel Farke and his men are up to the task, and can save their season.
