Leeds United and Manchester United are set to clash for a box office game at Old Trafford in the Premier League next month.
Following the international break, Leeds will be in FA Cup action against West Ham before taking on Manchester United at Old Trafford in the league on 13th April.
Manchester United have more than three weeks to prepare for the big game, and their form suggests they will start the game as favourites to pick up all three points.
The big gap will also allow Manchester United the time needed to get some of their injury players back in the squad, and they are set to receive a double boost ahead of the Leeds clash.
At least two Manchester United players will return against Leeds
Manchester United are the in-form team of the Premier League and have lost just one since Michael Carrick became their interim manager in January.
They are third in the Premier League table and are expected to secure Champions League football this season, with Chelsea and Liverpool struggling to keep up with the Red Devils.
Harry Maguire will be suspended for the Leeds clash after he picked up a red card in the 2-2 draw at Bournemouth. However, Lisandro Martinez is set to return to the squad.
The Argentinian centre-back was ever-present in Carrick’s team until he picked up a calf injury last month.
Carrick spoke about Martinez’s injury ahead of the Bournemouth clash and said, “Yeah, he’s closer. A lot closer.
“He’s getting there, so after this one, I think he’ll be alright.”
Noussair Mazroui is also expected to return for the Leeds clash after missing the Bournemouth clash with a minor injury.
Patrick Dorgu may not return to full fitness ahead of the Leeds clash and will likely return after the game at Old Trafford.
Daniel Farke has challenged his side to get something from Old Trafford
West Ham’s defeat at Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest’s win over Tottenham have allowed Leeds to remain 16th in the table with a four-point buffer over the drop zone.
However, Daniel Farke is aware that they need more points and believes that if Leeds are to stay up, they must challenge themselves to get something from Old Trafford.

Manchester United are in good form and have looked imperious at Old Trafford under interim boss Carrick since they changed managers in January.
However, Farke believes his side have enough to go to Old Trafford and give Manchester United a good game and leave something under their belt.
