Leeds United will have to pick up points at Elland Road when Brentford come to visit. The Whites have had a bad run of form in the league which has seen them pick just one point from a possible nine.
Leeds have also scored just one goal in their last four games in the Premier League. Daniel Farke’s attack has struggled to finish their chances over the last few weeks, and this has cost them points. Dominic Calvert-Lewin had a clear chance in the first half in the defeat to Manchester City, and against Palace, he missed a penalty.
The Whites will be up against Keith Andrews and his Brentford side who are eyeing a place in Europe. Saturday’s visitors have lost just one game in their last seven in the league, meaning Leeds are up against a tough task.
Premier League make announcement ahead of Leeds United clash
The last meeting between the two sides at the G-tech stadium ended in a draw after Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s late strike cancelled out Jordan Henderson’s opener. The Whites were the underdogs in that game, but are expected to be the favourites at Elland Road, where they have lost just three games since December.

Jarred Gillet has officially been announced as the referee in charge of Saturday’s game. Gillett has taken charge of three other Leeds United games this season against Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Manchester United.
Leeds have had a hard time with referees this season
Leeds United have definitely been on the bad side of Premier League referees over the past few weeks. Daniel Farke was sent off after the Manchester City game and was handed a one-match ban. Against Sunderland, PGMOL acknowledged that they made an error by not giving a penalty for a foul on Pascal Struijk. And in the last game against Palace, Gabriel Gudmundsson was given a second yellow, and shortly after Brennan Johnson was allowed to escape a second yellow for a similar foul.
The Whites are not a team that foul or are physical this season, so it is a surprise that they have been on the receiving end of bad calls. Some have cost them points in crucial games. Daniel Farke and his men must make sure to decide the result on the pitch in their last eight games of the season.
