With just over a month of Premier League action left, Leeds United have a huge chance to save their season. The Whites are in the middle of a relegation battle, and are just above the relegation zone.

A serious of bad results have seen the club pick up just two points in their last four matches. And now, their run in involves facing teams in and around them at the bottom of the table. Fans will be concerned as there are five away games left, knowing the team struggle on the road.

Despite all that, the club have had some very fine performers in the team this season, and the rest of the league are taking notice. If the Whites end up relegated, there will be no shortage of suitors for the top players.

Three Premier League teams keen on signing Leeds ace

It was reported earlier this week that Premier League clubs are closely monitoring one Leeds United player. Pascal Struijk has emerged as a real target for Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Tottenham. The three teams view the Dutchman as a top talent, they would like to add to their squads at the end of the season. Spurs could lose Micky Van de Ven, and could take Struijk as a replacement. Unai Emery is also said to be in the market for a new defender, and Newcastle United are keeping an eye on the situation if they do lose one of their first choice defenders.

Leeds United are said to be firm on their stance; they will not be willing to sell Pascal Struijk this summer. However, with the PSR and other financial issues, a move could be possible if the offer is good enough. The club is expected to ask in excess of £30 million for the highly sought after 26-year old.

Leeds United star has thought about Elland Road exit

Leeds United will not be keen on selling one of their best players, and a product the club have developed over the past few years. But Struijk has said in the past that he is open to leaving. In January, the defender mentioned that he had an offer from Europe during the summer, but none of the parties involved were able to reach an agreement. The 26-year old did mention that leaving Elland Road was something he considered.

“I had some options to leave, but that didn’t happen,” he said to ESPN Netherlands.

“That had to do with several parties. From my side, there was something I would have liked to do.

“But the three parties: me, the club, and the other club, all had to reach an agreement in the end.

“If that doesn’t happen, then I simply have a contract and I’ll do my job.”

The defender also mentioned in the interview that he ‘looks up’ to Raphinha’s path: moving from Leeds to a top club in Europe like Barcelona. Pascal Struijk’s contract at Leeds United is set to expire in 2027, and he is reportedly seeking a new contract that would significantly increase his wages.
