49ers handed huge boost as Leeds United loanee hailed ‘extraordinary’ after match-winning heroics

Leeds loanee Largie Ramazani continues to impress at Valencia

Leeds United have built a healthy six-point gap between themselves and the relegation zone, and there’s a quiet confidence growing that they’ll secure their Premier League status.

With survival increasingly in sight, the focus is already beginning to turn towards what comes next. The club have big ambitions for the summer and are putting plans in place now to strengthen the squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Bringing in a new goalkeeper is expected to be one of the main priorities, while Leeds are also gearing up to make a strong move for Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney.

However, the 49ers need to raise more funds through sales than last summer to bolster their kitty, and Largie Ramazani could be that player who could bring in significant funds in the next window.

Leeds loanee Largie Ramazani continues to impress at Valencia

Leeds loaned out Largie Ramazani last summer to Valencia as it became clear that he was not a major part of Daniel Farke’s plans for the season.

The Leeds manager claimed that it was the winger who wanted to leave as he was keen to return to Spain to play more football in the ongoing campaign.

Ramazani struggled in the first few months in Spain, but has hit form at the right time. He has scored in his last three league games, including scoring a 90th-minute penalty against Osasuna this weekend.

Valencia coach Carlos Corberan claimed that Ramazani showed extraordinary mental strength to score from the spot, especially after he had to re-take the penalty.

Corberan said, “Ramazani has a lot of personality, because after scoring the first goal and then, after that feeling that you’ve scored, having to retake the penalty, you have to be able to handle the pressure, to not let it get to you.

“That’s very important, because you might doubt whether to put the ball in the same place or change sides.

“He handles that psychological game extraordinarily well.”

49ers would want the winger to continue impressing in Spain

Leeds loaned out Ramazani last summer to ensure he gets to play regular football in a league he knows and increases his value during the course of the season.

He does not appear to be in Farke’s plans for the future, and Leeds are likely to shed a few wingers from their books in the upcoming transfer window.

Copa del Rey 4 0 1 238′
Total 19 4 2 696′

Ramazani is likely to be put on the shop window when he comes back to Elland Road in the summer, as he does not have a natural place in the team.

His form in Spain means Leeds are now in a better position to demand a good fee if and when clubs come calling for him in the next transfer window.

Leeds need player sales to bolster their spending power and Ramazani’sform will make the 49ers smile ahead of next summer.
