The last time Daniel Farke spoke to the media about his Leeds United future, he hinted that they could get an answer during the international break. Beren Cross has shared a few words on that situation.
Farke has got this team off to a great start this season, guiding them to an unbeaten run in their five games so far.
Last year, the team only managed one win in their first four matches, so this has been a drastic improvement for everyone involved.
Leeds will be furious that they were not able to pick up maximum points against Crystal Palace over the weekend. They had the game in their control, but messed up their chances.

Going into the break in fifth place in the league is as good as it gets for the Whites.
Daniel Farke’s future at Leeds United is a talking point that will continue into the season. The German has denied to give any comments since talks commenced this summer.
Beren Cross has shared his thoughts on the situation, speaking on The Square Ball podcast.
”It might be nice to see Farke get a new contract perhaps. You think would that be nice given that he’s he’s kind of kicked that can down the road enough and they’ve now got mentioned they’ve now got three weeks to work at it.”
”So, we’ll obviously keep a breast of that and be aware of developments, but you would you would hope that maybe that I mean, if you’re coming into the season as Leeds United and there’s clearly something that’s that’s meant they’ve been unable to find an agreement up to now after after months of negotiating.”
”You would have thought nine points from five games is enough of a reassurance to think, okay, this is still ticking on quite nicely. I mean, again, I don’t know what else he could have really done in those first five games to really convince them that he’s worth whatever it is that he’s he’s asking for.”

When will Farke put pen to paper?
As things stand, it is believed both parties are keen on continuing their relationship.
Club managing director Robbie Evans alluded to this in his Q&A after the transfer window; saying that the ownership have a good relationship with Farke. Which begs the question about what is going on currently.
Since the end of last season, there have just been reports, but no official announcement.
It is most likely that the two parties have to agree on some final details in order to finalize everything. Leeds could also want to see how this season plays out before offering him a deal in the summer.
Nobody knows, but it is something interesting to follow.
