A late equaliser from Eli Junior Kroupi allowed Bournemouth to escape with a point from a game that Leeds United absolutely dominated for most parts at Elland Road today.
Leeds conceded the first goal again this weekend as Bournemouth became the first away side to score at Elland Road this season. However, Joe Rodon and Sean Longstaff scored to put Leeds in a strong position.
The Whites looked like they were on their way to a second successive league win today, until Kroupi ghosted his way to the backpost and scored as the Cherries delivered a good set-piece late in injury time to leave Elland Road with a point.
However, Leeds produced another competitive performance, and on balance of play, the Whites should have sealed all three points against a good Bournemouth side today.
Andoi Iraola conceded that Leeds United were too strong for his side today physically

The Bournemouth manager conceded that Leeds United were the more dominant side physically, and players such as Dominic Calvert-Lewin made it difficult for his players to win one-on-one battles.
He admitted that while his players normally excel in such games, Leeds made it extremely difficult and more or less dominated his side physically.
“The game was very physical. Calvert-Lewin was winning a lot of first contacts”, Iraola told reporters after the game at Elland Road.
“Physical midfield, winning second balls. Normally, we are good at that type of game, but Leeds have been very good in the duels and fighting for the ball.
“They made it difficult for us.”
Can you name these 10 former Leeds United midfielders?
