Leeds United beating Norwich City in the FA Cup weekend brought some light to the club after a horrible couple of weeks. The team failed to pick up a point in their last two Premier League games.
The Whites have now been dragged back into the fight at the bottom of the table. Even though Leeds are still not in the relegation zone, they still have a three point cushion. But with their relegation rivals picking up points in the last week, Daniel Farke’s men will have to be looking over their shoulders.
This weekend sees a bunch of difficult fixtures for each of the teams near the bottom of the table, so whoever is able to get points on the board could do a whole lot for their season.
Leeds United have two major doubts ahead of Crystal Palace game
Leeds United take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this weekend. Daniel Farke will be dreading the fixture due to the Whites’ form on the road. But after failing to pick up a point in two home games, Leeds need to do everything possible to get something on Sunday. Ahead of the game, the club already have two major doubts in Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
”Two doubts are Dominic – back in training and see how he reacts, but carefully optimistic.” Farke said in Friday’s press conference.
”Noah is with us for the first time for first team training, but was out with a reported hip injury.
”But I doubt he is available. Dom had some problems with his knee.”

Huge blow for Daniel Farke
Noah Okafor’s absence from the team has been felt, the club lacks a player who can stretch opposition defences. The Whites have lacked that goalscoring edge in their last few games and it is becoming a problem. Dominic Calvert-Lewin also missing out would also be a huge blow, going into such a big game without your tops scorer is a huge disadvantage.
| # | Player | Goals |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Dominic Calvert-Lewin | 10 |
| 2 | Lukas Nmecha | 7 |
| 3 | Brenden Aaronson | 4 |
| = | Anton Stach | 4 |
| = | Noah Okafor | 4 |
| 6 | Ao Tanaka | 3 |
There are still a few days between now and Sunday, and hopefully, the duo will be available. But if they are not, the alternatives in the team have been very underwhelming this season. This could see Daniel Farke tweak the tactics and team selection once again in order to get a result at Selhurst Park.
