Leeds United fans will be some of the happiest people in the world, as their team kicked off the new year continuing their unbeaten run. The Whites continue to open the gap between themselves and the relegation zone.
This would have been impossible a few months ago; Leeds were in terrible form with many calling for Farke to be sacked after poor results. But the German has turned things around. A large part of it has been him figuring out new tactics and getting his team selection right in previous games.
Players like Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Brenden Aaronson have hugely benefitted from this in the past few weeks.
Graham Smyth reveals something he spotted at Leeds United game
It was a hard fought clash between both sides; and just like in the draw against Liverpool, Leeds were able to shut out Ruben Amorim’s side. The Whites took the lead through Brenden Aaronson who continued his fine form in the team. Farke’s men had their lead erased in just minutes with Matheus Cunha scoring the equalizer. The match ended in a draw, but it was what happened in the dressing room that will spark a conversation.
According to Graham Smyth, three Leeds players: Dan James, Illia Gruev and Noah Okafor, were seen entering the Manchester United dressing room area after the game.

Players could find themselves in hot water
Leeds United fans are unforgiving sometimes. In a game against bitter rivals, you should not be caught doing somethings no matter the context. What makes it worse is that these players have been criticized by the fans at some point this season. Noah Okafor is a signing that has had a mixed season this year; he has had his ups and downs so far. He was signed to be that spark down the wing in attack, but after a run of good form around September, he really has not got going.
Illia Gruev has not been criticized as much as Okafor, but some of his performances have been put under the microscope. He has found himself on the fringes of the first team this season, and being seen in situations like this will not help his case with the fanbase.
Dan James on the other hand, is a fan favourite so will not face as much backlash. Fans will understand that he has former teammates at Manchester United were at the game. But overall, fans will not be happy that this happened.
I don’t have a problem with it, but I do with the idiotic journalist stirring things up and assuming he knows what the fans reaction will be. grow up. Try some proper reporting.
