But this season, things have been a bit different. Leeds beat Derby County in the third round, Birmingham City in the fourth round and Norwich City in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Whites can make more by reaching the final
It is early to say, but if Leeds can reach the final, they can win in excess of £2 million as prize money per the FA Cup website. Daniel Farke’s men will face West Ham in the quarterfinals, but there is a huge chance they can even make the semi-finals. A cup run is not what the team needs at this point of the season, but it is what the fans deserve.
Aside the prize money, gate receipts could hugely benefit Leeds if they do get a home tie if they reach the semi-finals. All this money counts towards PSR this summer and could give the club some financial space to work within as a result. This cup run could be key for the future of the club.
