After what Leeds United boss Daniel Farke said after the Villarreal game, many fans would expect more deals to be completed in the coming days. They are right, but it may not be the deals they expect.
Farke has called for new additions especially in the attack after seeing how the team did in their pre-season tests. The recent injuries to players in camp has now made the situation any better. Some players are doubts to be fit in time for the season opener against Everton.
One thing that Leeds fans should expect in the coming weeks is departures. Many players could be headed out of Elland Road as the window draws to a close. At this point in the season, some clubs are getting desperate after missing out on their major targets.

After missing out on training camp in Germany, Joseph was spotted at the Villarreal game. When Farke was asked about the youngster’s future, he had this to say:
“He has made his decisions anyhow, that he didn’t feel ready to train with us and to travel to Stockholm. He wasn’t ready to travel with us to the training game and also play the games. And then, of course, we can’t afford then in the group – a group is excited and focused and concentrated on preparing and stepping up for Premier League level right now we can’t then afford a member in the group who is perhaps distracted or not really fully committed and for that at the moment, he’s definitely not in the plans.”
Leeds United star ‘one step away’ from exit
After links to Real Betis and Girona, it looks like Mallorca is the next destination for the forward.
A move is very likely, with a report from AS saying that Joseph is ‘one step away’ from completing the deal. He will be replacing Cyle Larin who is set to leave the club soon. All parties are optimistic of sealing the deal soon, with a loan agreement in place – there will be no purchase option according to reports.
The club hold all the cards now
Leeds have handled this situation the best way they can. They have controlled it well, and now, Joseph can get first team football. The loan deal at Mallorca reportedly has no sale clause, so he will return to West Yorkshire this summer.
