Leeds United lost on penalties in their game against Manchester United in Ireland. The club continue to impress in their pre-season preparations.

Nottingham Forest boss makes huge claim ahead of Leeds United opener
Leeds United begin their Premier League season away to Nottingham Forest.
Their opponents also played a friendly on Wednesday against Bayer Leverkusen. Oliver Glasner’s men beat the German side 2-1, and after the game, the Forest boss had some words on their upcoming league opener.
Glasner believes his team will not be fully ready by the first match of the Premier League.
“We had a crazily intense preparation behind us so far and that means getting fit,” he told Sky.
“We’re starting right away with a double header against Leeds on Saturday in the Premier League and then on Tuesday again here at City Ground in the Carabao Cup.
“So that’s two Premier League games within three days. Then it’s off to Anfield. So that’s why we still have some homework to do.
“Without wanting to paint things black, we will not yet be in our best condition at the beginning. We would be wizards if we get that done within five, six weeks or with players who might train with us for a week or two.”

Leeds will have the edge in Premier League opener
Oliver Glasner’s style of football takes a toll on his teams, so pre-season is the best time to drill it into them.
He has already mentioned in a previous interview with talkSPORT that Nottingham Forest are making preparations one game at a time.
Glasner has been honest that he thinks his side will not be fully sharp by the first game of the Premier League.
This gives Leeds United and Daniel Farke the upper hand going into that match. The Whites have had very good preparations in pre-season so far, with their training camp in the US.
Friendly results against Liverpool and Manchester United have showed fans that this season will be different.
