There is no room for slip ups at this point of the season for Leeds United. They have come this far after a remarkable turn of form towards the end of last year.
Many had ruled them out at the start of the season, but now the team looks to have gelled and can play together effectively. Their run of results since the start of the year has been very impressive and catapulted them to 15th place.
But they are still not out of the woods yet with 11 games to go, and their fixture list looks very difficult as they have to face teams in and around them at the bottom of the table.
Former Chelsea man makes huge Leeds United claim
This weekend, the Whites are set to face Manchester City in a very important clash. Ex-West Ham man Scott Minto has given praise to Leeds United, saying that they look favourites to stay up because they have stability.
“I look at from 13th down (in the Premier League), and I think they’re the only club where it feels like everyone’s in it together, the fans are right behind the manager and the players, and you can’t put a price on that.”
There are still many fixtures to go, and so far it looks like Wolves are the only side that many will guarantee to be relegated at the end of the season.

Scott Minto has a point
The former Chelsea and West Ham man makes a great point; there are just 10 points separating 13th and 18th place in the Premier League. And with 11 games to go, anything can happen. The clubs in these positions also have problems of their own to deal with. Spurs and Nottingham Forest recently appointed new managers, who got off to bad starts at their respective clubs. Brighton and Crystal Palace are also not out of the woods yet, and per reports Oliver Glasner could be sacked before the season ends as he still has problems with the board.
| Team | Games Played | Points |
|---|---|---|
| 13. Crystal Palace | 27 | 35 |
| 14. Brighton | 27 | 34 |
| 15. Leeds United | 27 | 31 |
| 16. Tottenham | 27 | 29 |
| 17. Nottingham Forest | 27 | 27 |
| 18. West Ham | 27 | 25 |
Even amidst all their troubles, Leeds United look the best bet to beat the drop. The club are confident with Daniel Farke at the helm from now till the end of the season. The ownership did not panic when things did not go well at the end of last year.
