Leeds United will be in the market as they hope to improve the team ahead of next season. Daniel Farke has been keen on adding real quality to the squad going forward.

In the final weeks of the just ended season, he urged the ownership to invest on the pitch.

Last season saw over £100 million spent on new signings into the first team. This paid off in a big way as the club managed to avoid relegation, finishing in 14th place in the league.

But next season is going to be even more important for the Whites.

Promoted sides who survived their first two to three seasons are most likely to become regular sides in the Premier League.

Leeds United star lined up for shock exit

In order for Leeds United to be active in the transfer market this summer, they might have to sell players. Club chairman Paraag Marathe even confirmed that Leeds would have a cautious approach to the window.

There are quite a number of players who could be allowed to leave this summer.

Last year saw some players allowed to leave on loan, including Max Wober, Isaac Schmidt, Largie Ramazani and Mateo Joseph.

Per The Leeds Press insider Elland Back, Sean Longstaff is facing an uncertain future at Elland Road and could be allowed to leave this summer. The midfielder had a mixed campaign due to injury.

He started the season well before his injury problems got in the way. It is believed that with possible arrivals, Longstaff could be one that makes way.

What Leeds’ midfield could look like next season

The source claims that Leeds United are currently looking at three options this summer.

Harry Wilson, Shea Charles and Julian Brandt are very high on the list for the 49ers. These three options fit specific roles and profiles for the midfield under Daniel Farke.

Shea Charles is a more box-to-box option who can defend and cover ground like Anton Stach.

Julian Brandt is a more attacking midfielder, who can operate behind the striker and Harry Wilson is a midfielder who can play out wide.

Adding these three would drastically improve this Leeds team going into next season. And most importantly, they can all contribute to goals and assists from the middle of the park.

The 49ers making these signings would be a serious statement of intent to the fanbase.

Brutal! Shock! All words you use in your headlines as clickbait when you have completely made up a story just for the sake of creating an article. This is not journalism. It is speculative story telling designed to create advertising space.
