Leeds United have enjoyed a productive start to the summer transfer window. But Daniel Farke and the club’s recruitment team know there is still plenty of business to complete before the new Premier League season begins.
The Whites got their recruitment underway by signing Harry Wilson on a free transfer before making a £34m move for Sassuolo centre-back Tarik Muharemovic.
They have since landed their marquee signing of the summer, bringing James Trafford to Elland Road from Manchester City in a club-record £45m deal. The England international is expected to establish himself as Leeds’ long-term number one.
Despite that progress, Leeds are far from finished in the market. The club are continuing to pursue reinforcements, with several areas of Farke’s squad still earmarked for strengthening before the transfer window closes.

The Whites have shown ambition to spend close to £80m on Tarik Muharemovic and James Trafford, who is the club’s record signing, this summer.
Harry Wilson’s arrival was also pivotal as Leeds beat competition from clubs with European football to convince the Welshman to move to Elland Road.
Leeds are still looking to bring in at least four more signings, including a versatile attacker, before the transfer window closes in a few weeks.
And according to Fabrizio Romano, Leeds have just received a major boost in their pursuit of a Barcelona forward.
The transfer journalist confirmed that Roony Bardghji is ready to accept a move away from Barcelona before the end of the transfer window.
Following talks between the club and the forward’s camp, a decision has been made that would see the Swede leave the Nou Camp in the final weeks of the window.
Barcelona are likely to agree to a loan deal as the club wants to keep control of the winger’s future. The player is seeking regular first-team football next season.
Leeds are among the clubs who have been keeping tabs on the young attacker, and it remains to be seen whether they make a play for him.
The club need a few sales before more signings
Leeds United are expected to oversee several departures before the transfer window closes as they look to raise funds and continue reshaping Daniel Farke’s squad.
Lucas Perri is edging closer to a move to Torino, while the Whites are also willing to consider offers for Sebastiaan Bornauw if their valuation is met.
Largie Ramazani remains one of the most likely players to leave Elland Road, although Valencia are holding off in the hope that Leeds lower their asking price.
Wilfried Gnonto and Joel Piroe could also depart before the deadline if suitable bids arrive, with Leeds confident both players would attract healthy transfer fees.
Brenden Aaronson’s future is another issue the club must resolve. The American is entering the final year of his contract, leaving Leeds with a decision to make over whether to cash in this summer or try to tie him down to a new deal.
