Leeds United are back in league action this weekend following a long international break. They have a really tough task ahead of them as they go up against Premier League holders Arsenal.
Both sides had very different results going into the break; Leeds were held to a goalless draw and Arsenal suffered a shock defeat.
Mikel Arteta’s side fell to a 3-0 defeat to Brighton, and they lost ground on Manchester City. There will be some pressure on the Gunners going into the game as they trail City early in the season.
The last time these two sides met did not go well for Daniel Farke’s side.
Arsenal completed the double over Leeds, winning both league games and scoring nine goals combined.

Going into this weekend, most have predicted the league holders to triumph.
Before losing to Brighton, the Gunners had a perfect start to the season and looked unstoppable.
Gabby Agbonlahor thinks otherwise, as he believes that Leeds United could probably pull off an upset on Saturday afternoon.
“I can’t look at any game and tell you who is guaranteed to win.” Agbonlahor said on talkSPORT.
“Arsenal vs Leeds United; Leeds are in very good form.
“Arsenal have lost Tzolis; he is out with a hamstring injury, and you don’t know how fit some of their players are going to be after playing international football.”

Do Leeds stand a chance this weekend?
The most recent game between both sides saw the Whites embarrassed by the league winners at Elland Road.
And fans will not like to relive the last game at the Emirates where Leeds lost by five goals. But the club have taken huge steps since then; improving on the quality of the team while maintaining some consistency.
They have better players now and the team are more comfortable with Farke’s new system.
Arsenal will definitely have players who come in unfit following the international break. A lot of their first team stars were in action compared to Leeds United’s starters.
The match could come down to slim margins, which could include which squad is fresher ahead of Saturday.
Leeds have also put together an impressive run of form away from home, and have lost just one league game on the road since February.
