Some Leeds United stars stood out during the international break with amazing performances. This weekend, the Whites are back in Premier League action.
Daniel Farke’s side will be facing Arsenal next weekend.
The club could be without Jean-Matteo Bahoya who picked up an ankle injury while with the French U21 team. Mikel Arteta is also battling injury doubts of his own as up to four players could miss the game.
Gabriel Gudmundsson, Jaka Bijol and Ao Tanaka impressed in their countries games.
While Dominic Calvert-Lewin struggled for minutes as Thomas Tuchel only gave him two appearances in four games.

Nico Elvedi joined Leeds United in the summer window, with Sebastiaan Bornauw going on loan to HSV.
He has since made his impact in the team, and that form has continued into the international break. Switzerland beat Macedonia 3-0 in their final game of the international break.
Elvedi won all his ground duels, aerial duels and made two interceptions in the game.
Swiss outlet Blick rated him ‘5/6’ for his outing on Tuesday night, describing the 30-year old as ‘the best Swiss center-back since the start of the year’.
”He won the majority of his duels and imposed his physical strength. He has made a habit of being the best Swiss center-back since the start of the year, and he maintained that level, but Manuel Akanji was his equal on Tuesday. A tough match nonetheless, as always in 2026.”
Murat Yakin’s side picked up a maximum 12 points from their Nations League games over the last few weeks.

Nico Elvedi posing more problems for Daniel Farke
Elvedi’s form at the start of this season has seen him work his way into the Leeds starting lineup.
The defender has managed to bench Jaka Bijol, who himself was a very impressive performer last year. When Daniel Farke was asked why he decided to take Elvedi over Bijol, he explained that the Swiss international had different qualities the team needed.
And with Bijol impressing for Slovenia during the international break, Farke has a lot on his plate.
Changing a team in a great run of form is difficult, but sometimes decisions must be made. It will be very interesting to see who makes the start when Leeds visit the Emirates stadium this weekend.
