Leeds United have made progress in signing some of their major summer targets. The first team are currently in a training camp in the US as they prepare for the new season.
But the 49ers are working hard on the ground to seal some deals in this transfer window.
There has been a lot of talk about James Trafford this week, as Leeds made a huge breakthrough over a deal. On Friday, multiple outlets confirmed that there are now talks between all parties.
Trafford has given the go-ahead and the Whites will now finalize the details with Manchester City.
The England star has been Leeds’ number one target for the goalkeeping position this summer.
Player chooses Leeds United move over European giants
Leeds United fans also got details on the pursuit of Julian Brandt.
The attacking midfielder’s agent paid a visit to Thorp Arch over a week ago to meet with club officials. It was then reported that an offer had been made to the German free agent.
Brandt’s agent was also spotted in Spain visiting Real Betis, but the Spanish side did not offer him a move, according to reports.

Sky Sports’ Zinny Boswell is reporting on Saturday that Brandt prefers a move to the Premier League with Leeds. The 30-year old has also received an offer from Dutch giants Ajax.
The report also adds that the former Borussia Dortmund man also had interest in a move to Serie A.

Huge coup for the 49ers
Landing Harry Wilson ahead of Premier League rivals was one thing, but this move could blow that out of the water.
Julian Brandt would be a fantastic signing for Leeds United. He can play in midfield as an 8 or 10, and can operate in the roles behind the striker in Daniel Farke’s new system.
Farke had been crying out for a creative spark in this team over the last few years.
Brandt had 11 goals and four assists last season, showing that he can also be a serious goal threat. With Brandt and Wilson in the team, Calvert-Lewin could have better service in the new season.
Last summer was Anton Stach and this year, the club is about to complete deals for James Trafford and Julian Brandt.
