Leeds United are aiming to improve their first team ahead of next season. The Whites secured a 14th-placed finish in the Premier League last year.

Club chief Paraag Marathe ensured that the club would invest in transfers this summer.

And Leeds have done exactly that by signing two key players so far. Harry Wilson arrived on a free transfer to bolster the attack, and Tarik Muharemovic came in to replace Pascal Struijk.

There are other major targets being pursued according to reports, including Shea Charles and Julian Brandt.

When it comes to summer exits, there are a lot of players who could leave. Last summer saw a handful of players depart on temporary deals, and most of them returned at the end of the season.

Leeds United star completes medical ahead of exit

Max Wober, Jack Harrison, Largie Ramazani and Joe Gelhardt were left out of the squad list for the US camp, which points to the fact that they could leave Leeds United in this window.

None of the four players have reported to pre-season training.

According to two reports, Max Wober has chosen to leave Elland Road and is set to join Schalke. BILD reported that Wober travelled to have his medical with the German club in their training camp in Austria.

Sky Austria also back this, reporting that the 28-year old did undergo medical tests. But the outlet reported that no agreement has been reached between the clubs.

No fee has been mentioned, or whether the transfer will be a loan deal or a permanent one.

Wober spent last season on loan with Werder Bremen, where he barely played after picking up a serious injury.

Who else could leave Elland Road this summer?

As mentioned above, the four players left out of the US camp will be likely to leave.

Hull City were keen on a deal for Joe Gelhardt, but the deal seems to have stalled over the past few weeks. Jack Harrison has been linked with a move to MLS but nothing has been confirmed.

Largie Ramazani is still a target for Valencia this summer, but the Spanish club are willing to wait for a lower fee.

If the reports about Wober are true, then the defender could be the first to leave after Leeds make their trip to the US. None of these players are in Daniel Farke’s plans and will leave Elland Road this summer.
