Leeds United signed off their pre-season in style on Saturday, cruising to a 4-0 victory over Augsburg with their Premier League opener against Nottingham Forest now just a week away.
The focus will now return to the transfer market, with the club still looking to strengthen a few key areas before the window closes.
Leeds have already agreed a deal to bring Nico Elvedi in from Borussia Monchengladbach, while Sebastiaan Bornauw is set to leave Elland Road and join Hamburg this summer.
The Whites are also working hard on the outgoing side of their business, with several players expected to leave as Leeds look to trim the squad, generate funds and create space for further additions.

Leeds United target set to arrive in the coming hours to complete Elland Road switch
Leeds United are working to finalise the departures of Joel Piroe, Sebastiaan Bornauw and Lucas Perri, with all three expected to leave in the coming days.
However, the club are also rushing through a deal to complete a major incoming transfer.
Leeds have an agreement in place to sign Borussia Monchengladbach centre-back Nico Elvedi, who has spent 11 years at the German club.
Gladbach manager Eugen Polanski recently confirmed that the defender wants to leave, and the club won’t stand in his way.
According to journalist Isaac Johnson, Leeds have arranged for the defender to arrive in England tonight to complete the transfer.
The defender will arrive in England in the coming hours ahead of completing a medical and signing a contract with Leeds in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Leeds have agreed to pay up to £8.5m to Gladbach for the 29-year-old centre-back.
The club want to finalise Elvedi’s arrival before officially sanctioning Bornauw’s move to Hamburg.
Nico Elvedi would add solid experience to the Leeds defence
Sebastiaan Bornauw was a useful squad option for Leeds United, but he never really got enough chances to establish himself as a dependable back-up.
Nico Elvedi looks like a very good replacement. The Swiss centre-back has plenty of experience at a high level in one of Europe’s top leagues and has also worked with Daniel Farke before.
As a regular for Switzerland, Elvedi would bring plenty of experience and quality to Leeds’ defence. If the Whites get the deal over the line, it could prove to be another smart addition.
The 49ers have generally recruited well in recent seasons, and Elvedi could be the latest example. Leeds are clearly looking to improve on the squad that finished 14th last season, especially with several Premier League rivals strengthening around them.
