Leeds United finished their pre-season in style on Saturday, cruising to a 4-0 win over Augsburg ahead of next weekend’s Premier League opener against Nottingham Forest.
Attention will now shift back to the transfer market, with the club still looking to strengthen the squad and address a few key areas before the window closes.
Leeds have already agreed a deal to sign centre-back Nico Elvedi from Borussia Monchengladbach, with Sebastiaan Bornauw set to leave Elland Road and join Hamburg this summer.
The Whites are also stepping up their efforts to move several other players on as they look to trim the squad, raise funds and make room for further additions.

West Ham are in advanced negotiations for Leeds striker Joel Piroe, and are set to sign him on loan with a £15m obligation to buy if they get promoted.
Bornauw is also set to join Hamburg after the two clubs reached an agreement and is expected to be in Germany today ahead of a medical.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Lucas Perri is now on the verge of leaving Leeds after saying yes to a move to Torino this summer.
Marseille attempted to hijack the deal last week, but Torino regained the upper hand after holding fresh talks with the goalkeeper and his representatives over the past 48 hours.
The Brazilian has agreed to join Torino, and a deal is now in place between Leeds and the Italian club for the move.
Torino have agreed to pay a loan fee of around £850,000, and will hold an option to buy for a deal worth just around £12m.
The Italian club are hoping to get him through a medical on Monday.
Perri joined Leeds last summer to become the club’s first-choice keeper, but was out of the team midway through the season.
Leeds signed James Trafford in the ongoing window as their new number 1, and will now seek to sign a back-up goalkeeper.
Lucas Perri never settled at Leeds
When Leeds United signed the Brazilian last summer, there was real excitement that they had finally found their long-term answer in goal. The expectation was that he would quickly establish himself as the number one and keep the position for years.
However, things did not work out that way. His talent was clear, but weaknesses in his game soon became apparent and needed to be addressed if he was going to succeed as Leeds’ first-choice goalkeeper.
A series of costly mistakes led to dropped points and gradually eroded Daniel Farke’s confidence in him. Karl Darlow eventually replaced him and remained the manager’s preferred choice for the second half of the season.
There were calls for Leeds to be patient and give the Brazilian another season to improve. But Farke wanted a goalkeeper he could rely on immediately in the Premier League, and that ultimately left Perri’s future at Elland Road looking increasingly uncertain.
