Leeds United wrapped up their pre-season on a high on Saturday, cruising to a 4-0 win over Augsburg with their Premier League opener against Nottingham Forest now just a week away.
Attention will now shift back to the transfer market, with the club still looking to strengthen a few key areas before the window closes.
Leeds have already agreed a deal to sign Nico Elvedi from Borussia Monchengladbach, while Sebastiaan Bornauw is set to leave Elland Road and join Hamburg this summer.
The Whites are also stepping up their work on the outgoing front, with several players expected to leave as Leeds look to trim the squad, raise funds and make room for further additions.

Leeds United make call on whether to sign £8.5m left-back
Nico Elvedi is expected to complete his move to Leeds within the next 24 hours, becoming the club’s fourth signing of the ongoing summer transfer window.
However, Leeds want to add more players before the window closes and will push to bring in at least three more players to improve their squad.
Signing a left-back is a priority as Leeds do not have a natural back-up for Gabriel Gudmundsson, who will miss the start of the season due to a hamstring injury.
However, according to Football Insider, Leeds will not be making a move for Wolves left-back Santiago Bueno.
Bueno has been on Leeds’ radar all summer following Wolves’ relegation and has been linked with a move away from the club.
He was Wolves’ Player of the Season last year and is one of the players who has attracted Premier League interest in the ongoing window.
However, Leeds will not act on their interest in Bueno and will not be pursuing a move for the Wolves star this summer.
Leeds still need another left-back even if they don’t want Santiago Bueno
James Justin’s versatility allowed Leeds to mask their problems of not having a natural back-up for Gabriel Gudmundsson last season, but that is an area of the squad that would need strengthening.
Justin has played across the backline when required, but that can’t be the solution. Leeds need a quality back-up for Gudmundsson, who has had his injury issues.
Leeds still need another goalkeeper and a striker, but they cannot afford to ignore signing a left-back because they have a versatile defender in their squad.
The Whites will not pursue Bueno, but they still need to identify a player who can be a natural replacement for Gudmundsson.
If we ever have two 1st team left backs at Leeds I will throw a fit.
