The international break is often a time where rumours spring up about players. Leeds United is no different, as reports emerged over the future of Dan James last week.
The winger was in action for Wales in their Nations League game against Portugal.
James has been on the bench for most of this season for Leeds, with his last start coming against Chelsea in the League Cup.
Last season was not a good one for the winger, who failed to score a goal or register an assist in all competitions. In fairness, he only managed 21 appearances, missing most of the campaign due to injury.
The lack of playing time over the last 12 months has lead to speculation over his future.

Reports emerged that Dan James could be looking for a way out from Elland Road as the January window approaches.
As of Friday, TEAMtalk are reporting that the Leeds United star has no interest in pushing for a move in the coming months. The club are also to believed to have no plans of selling the Welsh international.
Leeds have no plans to weaken their first team anytime soon.
The club are happy with their current collection of players, which was made clear in Robbie Evans’ interview about the transfer window over a month ago.
January will not be a priority for the Whites, they are believed to not have any immediate plans of making any transfers. However in the event of a major injury crisis they may consider a move or two.

Where does Dan James fit in this Leeds side?
Dan James has been unlucky to be on the bad end of Daniel Farke’s major decision last year.
The Leeds boss decided to change the team’s shape midseason, which ended up being the catalyst to help them survive relegation. The club managed to finish in an impressive 14th place on their return to the league.
Since then, Farke has been stuck to the system, and this summer the transfers were made with that in mind.
James is a traditional winger; he sticks to the touchline and makes runs and crosses into the box. And those abilities are useful, as he can play a similar role as Noah Okafor dovetailing with the striker.
But Farke has also used James as a wingback, hinting that it could be a position the experienced player could be used in more.
