The last 48 hours has seen a lot of activity around Leeds United. The Whites could confirm multiple deals in the next few days as they prepare for the new season.

Over the weekend it was confirmed that Nico Elvedi could be the newest arrival at Elland Road.

On Saturday, Hull City confirmed the signing of Joe Gelhardt on a permanent deal. Leeds managed to pocked a decent fee from the sale of the forward, who was out of favour under Farke and had one year left on his contract.

Joel Piroe is also close to completing a move away from West Yorkshire.

Championship side West Ham have stepped up the process, with the striker to undergo a medical before completing the deal. Sources at the London club believe the transfer could be wrapped up in the next 12 hours.

There is also some updates on other deals around the club.

As of Tuesday, Tuttosport is reporting that Leeds United keeper Lucas Perri can finally close his deal to Torino.

The Brazilian has been earmarked to make an exit in the last few weeks, but the Whites held on until James Trafford arrived. Since then, there have been delays obstructing the move.

Perri got injured which pushed back the medicals, and Marseille tried to hijack the deal.

Per the Italian newspaper, Lucas Perri is all set to confirm his move to the Serie A. The details are being finalized with the outlet revealing that Torino’s offer has finally been accepted.

The 28-year old will join the Italian side on a season-long loan with an option to buy.

49ers need to accelerate their search for a backup goalkeeper

It was clear that the Whites were going for a backup keeper once the green light was given for Perri to leave.

One of the main reasons the Brazilian had for leaving Elland Road was to become number one somewhere else. It was made clear to both Perri and Darlow at the end of last season that neither would be number one.

Leeds now have to try and get in a deputy keeper as soon as possible.

But navigating such a deal would be difficult; they cannot overspend on a position that has already taken over £40 million of the budget.

They need to get in a deal similar to when they got Karl Darlow back in 2023. He came on a cheap deal, and was good enough to start games. It is very important for the team not to enter this season with just two options in the first team.
