Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Juventus all after Leeds youngster

According to reports from Italy, a whole host of European clubs including Juventus, Chelsea and Man City are monitoring Wilfried Gnonto.

The 19-year old has made a fantastic start to his Leeds United career, with 5 goal involvements in the league this season. Leeds signed the Italian for a reported £3.8million from Zurich. During his time in the Swiss League he score 10 goals and provided 5 assists.

Gazzetta dello Sport report that Gnonto is attracting several clubs in England, namely Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City. The Whites are said to be very reluctant to sell him, with the minimum price set around £26million according to reports. With Leeds battling relegation, the chance that Gnonto departs this summer is a real possibility.

Italy boss Roberto Mancini is a big fan of the youngster:

“Why hasn’t anyone signed Gnonto in Italy?”

“He could play for Sampdoria or Fiorentina. Nobody took him, but he plays as a regular in the Premier League.”

Gnonto made his Italy debut last summer and scored against Germany in the UEFA Nations League. He is in contention to feature this week as Italy face England on Thursday.
