Leeds United’s transfer window could be set for a significant downward turn amid reports that winger Luis Sinisterra has received a loan offer from Premier League side Bournemouth, with it currently being unknown whether a deal has been agreed between the Whites and the Cherries at this stage.
Losing Sinisterra so late in the transfer window would come as a real blow to Leeds, especially after manager Daniel Farke stressed that he was “pretty confident” that the Colombian – as well as fellow wingers Wilfried Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville – would remain in West Yorkshire following the deadline later this evening.
News of Bournemouth’s interest in the talented forward came from journalist Fabrizio Romano, who claimed that a “verbal agreement” had been reached between the parties involved in the move, even going so far as to state that Sinisterra is currently on his way to the South Coast to undergo a medical.

The Athletic’s Phil Hay and YEP’s Graham Smyth have disputed this, however, with both reporting that a deal is yet to materialise between the two sides. Hay in particular claims that the “next few hours will be telling” when it comes to deciding whether Sinisterra’s future rests in West Yorkshire or elsewhere.
No deal in place with Bournemouth at this stage but next few hours will be telling. Leeds were very keen to keep Sinisterra but he sees himself at a higher level and as has been discussed several times, there's a wrangle over this contract. #lufc

With limited time to source a suitable replacement for the talented 24-year-old, a move away from Elland Road for Sinisterra would put a considerable dampener on the entirety of Leeds’ transfer window.
The Whites’ movements in the summer up to this stage have impressed, with the acquisition of Ethan Ampadu, Djed Spence and Joel Piroe in particular grabbing the eye.
Yet with Sinisterra’s future now in serious doubt, the Elland Road faithful could be in for a long few hours before the transfer window slams shut at 11pm this evening.
