Transfer activity at Elland Road has gathered pace over the past week, with Leeds United making significant progress on several transfer targets. At the same time, the club are continuing to work on trimming the squad.
Several players spent last season out on loan, but most have returned after their temporary clubs decided against making the moves permanent. Largie Ramazani, Mateo Joseph and Joe Gelhardt are among those back at Thorp Arch.
So far, Pascal Struijk and Isaac Schmidt are the only players to have left Leeds for transfer fees this summer.
Karl Darlow also departed after rejecting a new contract to join Manchester United on a free transfer, while Max Wober agreed to terminate his contract before completing a move to Schalke.
Leeds still have several players they are looking to move on as they continue balancing the books, and another departure has now been wrapped up.

Another unwanted player has left Leeds United
Leeds chairman Paraag Marathe confirmed at the end of last season that the club would need to get better at selling players this summer, and several need to leave to balance their books.
While the Whites are keen to hold on to their best players, they are pushing to offload a lot of their deadwood and seem to be making progress on that front.
Jack Harrison’s departure to New England Revolution was confirmed on Saturday evening, and the winger has opened up on returning to the MLS.
Harrison told the MLS side’s official website: “As I considered my options, the decision to return to MLS and join the Revolution was the one that was most aligned with me.
It ticked a lot of boxes that I was looking for.
“I’m absolutely happy to come back to MLS and be back in Massachusetts, in a city that is full of champions in all other sports, and I’m hoping we can bring a title here to the city of champions.”
Leeds wanted Jack Harrison gone last summer
Daniel Farke’s decision to reintegrate Jack Harrison into the Leeds first-team squad was divisive, as Leeds didn’t want him back at Elland Road.
He left the club immediately after their relegation in 2023, and only returned to Leeds after two years on loan at Everton, after the latter didn’t want to sign him on a permanent deal.
Harrison did little to nothing during his limited appearances and was loaned out to Fiorentina in January. The Italian club refused to take up the option on him this summer.
The fans never warmed up to Harrison again and Leeds needed to get rid of him as he was a player on big wages with no future at Elland Road.
