Leeds now have a 41% chance of being relegated – Premier League projections

According to the latest Premier League projections by Twenty First Group, Leeds have a 41% chance of relegation.

The Whites have had a disappointing 2022/23 campaign considering the positive outlook at the beginning of the season. After sacking Marcelo Bielsa and hiring Jesse Marsch, who steered Leeds to survival at the end of 2021/22 there was optimism heading into the next season.

After bringing in seven first team players in the summer, Jesse Marsch was expected to guide the team to a respectable finish. The American managed three wins in their first four games before going on a run that saw just two wins between August and January before he eventually got sacked in February.

Spaniard Javi Gracia took over and has so far managed three wins which raised Leeds up the table. The Whites’ last three games have seen three consecutive defeats. Twenty First Group now gives Leeds a 41% chance of relegation:

Leeds face relegation rivals Leicester City and Bournemouth over the next week. The Elland Road faithful will hope Gracia can steer the club to safety come the end of the season.
