Leeds United youngsters Darko Gyabi and Mateo Joseph shone on national team duty with England U20.
The 19-year-old was given his second start at the tournament, selected alongside teammate Mateo Joseph. The duo impressed as the Young Lions triumphed against Uruguay.
Gyabi scored England’s third goal deep into injury time, firing a shot into the bottom corner after neat footwork in the box. Uruguay pulled one back just four minutes later, but it was not enough as England saw off the game and won 3-2.
Mateo Joseph was also incredible in the game, and provided an assist. The midfielder slid a delightful ball into the path of Alfie Devine who made no mistake to put England 2-0 up before half time.
England sit top of group E with six points ahead of their final group game on Sunday against Iraq.
