Leeds United have not yet finished their campaign, but the club is already looking to the future. In a recent press conference, Daniel Farke was clear about the Whites’ stance ahead of this summer.

When asked about the future of Karl Darlow, and potential recruitment in the future, he said all will be decided at the end of the season: “Like I said about the future, we’ll just speak once everything is confirmed – about futures, about our recruitment, about goalkeepers, outfield players, staff members, whatever,”

A lot has emerged over the past few weeks, including the Whites being linked with summer targets. Wolves’ duo of Ladislav Krejci and Santiago Bueno have been linked with moves to Elland Road. Krejci is reportedly open to a summer switch, with his camp ready to agree to personal terms if move develops.

Rob Edwards’ side will invite offers for their players this summer window after their relegation. And a handful of first team stars are said to be available. Mateus Mane is attracting interest from all over the Premier League as well as Bueno and Krejci.

Andre is also set for a summer move according to reports, with the Brazilian having been linked with Juventus. Now, Brazilian outlet RTI Esporte are reporting that Leeds are weighing up bid for the 24-year old midfielder this summer. He is set to be valued around £35 million after his performances this season. Wolves are keen on selling for a good price after their relegation.

The report adds that the Whites are keen on adding Andre as they want to upgrade their midfield ahead of next season.

Finances could play a part in move

Finances will definitely play a part in a potential transfer heading into this summer. It has not yet been confirmed how much Leeds will spend going into next season, but splashing £35 million will surely take a chunk. The Whites were open to spending more than that on Jorgen Strand Larsen in January, but structured the deal to pay the full amount in the summer after the PSR deadline – so a move is possible.

Also, Fluminense will pocket 10% of the profit on any future sale of the Brazilian. So a £35 million fee would bring a seven-figure income. However, the report says that the Brazilian club will be hoping for Andre to move abroad in order for them to get FIFA solidarity payment. Ultimately, Leeds would need to figure out a lot to make a potential move for Andre possible, but he is a very attainable target.
