Leeds United are ramping up their work in the transfer market as they aim to bring in several new faces before the squad returns for pre-season next month.
The club remain in discussions with Harry Wilson and are believed to have offered the Fulham winger a significant pay rise in an effort to lure him to Elland Road on a free transfer.
Leeds are also pursuing an ambitious move for Borussia Dortmund playmaker Julian Brandt, with the Germany international viewed as a player who could add valuable quality and experience to Daniel Farke’s squad.
Meanwhile, talks are progressing over a deal for Southampton midfielder Shea Charles, but Leeds are not stopping there. The club have also revived their interest in long-term target Hidemasa Morita as they continue to explore ways of strengthening their midfield options.

Leeds United revive talks with Hidemasa Morita
Hidemasa Morita will leave Sporting Lisbon on a free transfer once his contract expires at the end of this month.
Leeds have been heavily linked with an interest in the 30-year-old midfielder and held talks with his representatives over a potential deal this summer.
However, Leeds put the deal on hold as they assessed their options ahead of deciding on which targets to pursue this summer.
They hope to finalise a deal to sign Charles from Southampton soon, but they remain interested in the midfielder with Champions League experience.
According to the Daily Mail, Leeds have revived talks to sign the Sporting Lisbon midfielder on a free transfer this summer.
Morita is keen to play in the Premier League, and before Leeds put the deal on hold, he was keen to move to Elland Road in the ongoing window.
He is still understood to be open to a switch to Elland Road, and Leeds are now in talks to revive a deal to sign him on a free transfer this summer.
Do Leeds need him?
Midfield is one area of the Leeds squad where they have enough options, and any incoming business will lead to player departures as well.
Leeds are close to signing Southampton’s Shea Charles, and his arrival will almost certainly lead to Iliia Gruev’s sale in the ongoing transfer window.
However, if they end up signing Hidemasa Morita, Leeds will need to sell one more midfielder to make space in their squad for the 30-year-old star.
It remains to be seen whether Daniel Farke would want that level of disruption to his squad in just one summer, and Leeds also need strengthening in other areas.
