
Leeds United have had a big week in the transfer market.
The club were dealt with two huge blows recently went Ethan Ampadu went down injured followed by Ilia Gruev which left the midfield options at Daniel Farke’s disposal decimated and massively depleted.
Fortunately for Leeds United fans, Ao Tanaka and Joe Rothwell have massively stepped up to fill the void, but Leeds still needed reinforcements and so they turned to French midfielder Josuha Guilavogui.
The midfielder made his debut at Saint-Etienne before joining La Liga giants Atletico Madrid, however he made his name at VfL Wolfsburg. There the seven-time French international is still considered a club legend and starred for them as their club captain.
At the end of last season, he was featuring for fellow Bundesliga side Mainz before his contract expired making him a free agent. Needing a midfielder, Leeds swooped for him in a major boost.
But as one player comes through the door, another has left for the time being.

Leeds United allow fullback to leave on loan
Leeds United have confirmed that young fullback Joe Richards will leave the club on a short term loan to Tyneside club South Shields.
The club confirmed the news with the following statement:
“Leeds United academy full-back Joe Richards has today joined National League North side South Shields, on a short-term loan.
“The versatile player, who can be used on either flank both in defence and attack, has made five appearances in Premier League 2 for Scott Gardner’s Under-21s side so far this term.
“Last time out, Richards was on the scoresheet as the Whites recorded an impressive 3-1 victory over Stockport County Under-21s in the Premier League Cup.
“The 19-year-old heads to Mariners Park with Elliott Dickman’s side sat 16th in the Vanarama National League North standings, just three points adrift of the Play-Off positions, in a well-contested league.
“Everyone would like to wish Joe well during his time on Tyneside and we look forward to seeing his further development whilst away from the club.”
It’s an exciting opportunity for the young man and we are sure he will do well.
