After the Leeds United completed the transfer of James Trafford, the club will be looking to wrap up other deals before the new season. Reports suggest there could be multiple arrivals before the window closes.
The Whites are still looking at targets including a backup keeper, a fullback, midfielders and a striker.
Things have not really progressed since Trafford arrived, but Leeds are pushing for a few deals. The club are working on signing a backup goalkeeper after landing the England star.
This means Lucas Perri has the green light to leave Elland Road.
The Brazilian will not be the only first team player set to leave, as others have also been linked with exits. Joe Gelhardt and Largie Ramazani are among the other players Leeds expect to depart.
Major change to affect Leeds United transfer plans
Last week, HSV showed serious interest in a move for Sebastiaan Bornauw. The Belgian center back arrived at Elland Road 13 months ago, but has yet to become a first team regular.
He only made 12 Premier League appearances last year.
Most of which came as a substitute or as a replacement for a starting defender. Bornauw’s lack of game time became a problem, and he nearly left the club in the January window.
According to The Athletic, HSV are now confident that they can get a move over the line.
If that materializes, the YEP believe that a central defender will now move to the top of the list for the 49ers. Bornauw leaving would mean that Leeds have only three central defenders going into the new season.

Sebastiaan Bornauw’s exit could complicate things
Just like with signing a backup goalkeeper for James Trafford, signing a backup center back could be an issue.
When Sebastiaan Bornauw arrived, it was implied that he would be depth for the center back position. It was only when the first choice players were injured that he got a chance to start in the first team.
If HSV bring a good enough offer and Leeds let go of Bornauw, they will now have to alter plans.
Bringing in a defender to come in and be a back up will not be easy to find. The Whites got Sebastiaan Bornauw for just around £5 million which was a bargain fee last summer.
Just like with replacing Pascal Struijk with Tarik Muharemovic, a new center back could be expensive as well.
Shame, I like Bornauw, I think he’s did really well when he was in the team.
