Leeds United recorded a big win on their return to England over the weekend. The Whites strolled to a comfortable result against RB Leipzig at Elland Road.
Daniel Farke’s side had a good trip the US for their pre-season camp.
They managed two wins in their three games in the US. Leeds lost to Wrexham in their first match but bounced back with wins against Sunderland and Liverpool.
The match at Elland Road was a very good test for Farke’s men.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha were on the scoresheet as the defence recorded a shutout in the game. This has increased the confidence in the fanbase ahead of the new season.

Leeds United kick off their Premier League season away to Nottingham Forest in two weeks.
Jeff Stelling and Gabby Agbonlahor were discussing potential finishes for clubs in the Premier League this season.
Stelling predicted a top six of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Spurs and Liverpool.

What caught many eyes was him predicting Leeds United to finish in 11th place.
Gabby Agbonlahor agreed with the thought that the Whites will finish higher than most people expect them to.
”I think Leeds will be better than what some people [think].”
”Andy Townsend was not having Leeds this season, he thought they would struggle.”
Stelling also added: ”Harry Wilson, great signing. James Trafford, excellent signing. I think they have certainly strengthened.”
Agbonlahor also chimed in.
”The Wilson one was like a shock to me. It is intent isn’t it? Going in and getting Harry Wilson that other Premier League clubs wanted. Smashed their wage budget on James Trafford too.”

Leeds fans should be optimistic for this season
Fans have every reason to be excited for the new season.
The Whites beat all expectations and finished in 14th last season. They were in the relegation scrap for a bit in the middle of the campaign, but came out unscathed.
Leeds made very sensible signings before last season began.
Adding quality starters like Jaka Bijol, Anton Stach and Dominic Calvert-Lewin was enough to boost the team’s level going into the top flight.
With additions like Wilson, Trafford and Muharemovic, things are going well.
The performances in pre-season have also shown that this Daniel Farke side are going to continue how they ended last year.
