Leeds United under 23s captain Charlie Cresswell made his second senior appearance for the club last night against Fulham, and showed that he may very well be ready to become a regular around the first team.
Cresswell made his debut in the Carabao Cup last season against Hull City, but last night he looked like someone who had been in the first team for months. his confidence on the ball combined with his physical dominance meant he was a steady figure at the centre of the Leeds United defence.
Not to put too much pressure on him or anything, but I think Charlie Cresswell should be the England captain.

One Leeds fan was a tad hyperbolic in his opinion on Cresswell, as he stated the Leeds defender ‘should be the England captain.’ Whilst another posted ‘Charlie Cresswell will play for England at some point in his career.’
Charlie Cresswell will play for England at some point in his career 🙌🏻

Cresswell definitely has a bright future ahead of him. Will he play for England? Well, that’s far too early to say, but he has had a promising start to his Leeds United career.
