Leeds United confirm that Michael Skubala will continue as interim coach for the club’s upcoming fixtures.
Skubala was in charge for the club’s last two games against Manchester United. Leeds managed a draw at Old Trafford, but lost to two late goals on Sunday.
The club have now confirmed that the current coaching setup will oversee upcoming fixtures. Skubala commented on the announcement:
“I have really enjoyed the experience and the team and staff have responded well.
“I know I speak for Paco and Chris when I say that it is an honour to be on the touchline at this club.
“We will continue work tirelessly to help to push on up the table in the short term, whilst the board focus on the long term future of the team.”
Paco Gallardo and Chris Armas will remain in their supporting roles, alongside the backroom team already in place.
